Privacy policy

Sprint Dates for Jira (“the app”) is a Forge app that runs entirely on Atlassian Cloud. It does not send Jira data to servers outside Atlassian.

What the app accesses

With site admin consent, the app reads work items, sprint membership, and sprint start/end dates. It reads the installing user’s IANA time zone (not a profile or email) so stored dates match the Jira board across daylight saving. It writes two read-only custom fields on work items: Sprint Start Date and Sprint End Date.

What the app stores

The app stores only operational data in Atlassian Forge storage on your site:

• IDs of the app’s own custom fields
• Backfill job status (state, JQL used, counts, timestamps)
• Display time zone names (IANA identifiers such as Europe/Brussels, not user profiles)

It does not store issue summaries, descriptions, comments, attachments, or user profiles.

Data sharing

The app has no external network egress. It does not use analytics vendors, advertising, or third-party hosting.

Retention

Field values live on the work item until the app is uninstalled or the fields are removed. Forge storage is deleted according to Atlassian’s app uninstallation behaviour.

Your choices

Site admins can uninstall the app at any time. Uninstalling removes the app’s fields from Jira (Atlassian may retain field data for a short recovery window if the app is reinstalled).
